Project: Custom Corner Wardrobe | Regal | Cherry | LED Lighting

18 April 2012

For this project we worked in a fairly typical 1930's semi-detached property. The clients were in the process of modernising their home. A ground floor extension was underway and ultimately a new kitchen and bathroom were to be installed.

The proportions of the front bedroom were such that only truly made to measure furniture would work in the room. Having done some thorough research on the internet, the clients came across us and were very impressed with the first impressions.

We met with the clients and went few various design options. Again, due to the shape of the room, the best way to maximise storage would be to make full use of one corner. As all of our furniture is bespoke, we are able to make complete use of the height, width and depth of any space. Our 90 degree corner wardrobes are designed to maximise space.

The clients really like the idea of mixing old looks with new. For this reason they went for quite a traditional finish with a Regal door style in a Cherry finish. To mix this up they asked us to incorporate very modern LED lighting. We specified resessed LED light fittings.

With regards to the interior, the clients wanted to go for a very good mix of hanging space, shelf storage and internal drawers. In addition to this we also supplied a made to measure bedside cabinet with integrated tea tray.

The finished product looks brilliant. The clients are delighted and will ask us back to design furniture for the other bedrooms, in due course.
