Project: Made To Measure Dressing Room | White Ash Exterior | Maple Interior

10 January 2012

The clients were in the process of refurbishing their beautiful period property. One of the significant changes to their home was the conversion of one of the bedrooms in to a walk-in dressing room. As the dressing room was located between the master bedroom and the master en-suite, there were two walls which leant themselves to fitted furniture.

The clients contacted us as they wanted a company that could offer truly made to measure fitted furniture. We are able to make bespoke furniture down to the millimetre. Therefore, the extended depth of the wardrobes and the high ceilings were not a problem for us.

The brief from the clients was simple. They wanted a timeless, classic look to the furniture. This would ensure that the wardrobes were in-keeping with the period of the property as well as the choice of decor. We specified the exterior in a White Ash Woodgrain finish. For the interior we specified Maple.

On the exterior, the wardrobes looks very traditional. However, that is not to say that the interior layout is not functional. As the clients wanted to create a dressing room we have supplied pull-out shoe racks, a pull-out trouser rail, a pull-out jewellery organiser as well as tie and belt racks. In addition to this, we have specified a good mix of hanging, shelf and drawer storage.

The clients are delighted with the finished product. They are not only impressed with the quality of the materials, but also with the high standard of installation as well as the service they received from us.
