Project: Made to Measure Sliding Door Wardrobe Beech Light Brown Glass

12 December 2011

The clients had recently purchased a new property and had grand plans to turn it in to their dream home. The proportions of the master bedroom were such that fitted sliding door wardrobes would work very well.

The clients contacted us as they wanted a company that could offer truly made to measure fitted furniture. The far wall was the best choice to install the furniture. However, as per most projects there was a small obstacle in the form of a chimney breast. Hence, the need to use a company that can really maximise the available space.

The brief from the clients was simple. They wanted a modern, contemporary storage solution with minimal design features. We specified our Minima range of sliding doors to achieve the look they were after. In terms of exterior finishes, they wanted to combine the timeless charm of beech with modern glass in a light brown finish. The interior was supplied in ivory to compliment the light shade of the exterior.

We divided the space in to three. Externally, this meant 3 sliding doors. Internally, this meant 3 individual carcases. Carcase one consisted of double hanging. Carcase two consisted of higher level shelf storage, hanging space and two drawers. Carcase three was installed in front of the chimney breast and was, therefore, more shallow. This was supplied with shelf storage and four further drawers.

The clients were delighted with the finished product. They were not only impressed with the quality of the installation - which was carried out to our usual high standards - but also with the service they received from us.
